Comments: Good racing, love the road courses. I had the best lap I've ever had here in qualy. Got pretty lucky to qualify where i dd as Kaz put in a stellar lap which was better than I had ever done. I kept it clean, kept it on the track which was the plan. I know some guys did a no pit stop strategy. I just committed to go into the pits early so I waited for Jon(41) to commit, waited to see what he did and I could tell by the delta that he took tires. i was going to take tires but Matt, at that point was still in second and fast so I knew it would be really tough to get around him here so I decided to just do a little splash and dash, see what would happen without tires and I was able to hold off Jons late run and took it home

Comments: It was a good night. I absolutrly blew it in qualifying as I could not get the last chicane down to save my life. I decided to focus on consistency in the race and it went pretty ok. I had a little trouble managing lapped traffic and got my nose chopped with a little damage twice but it wasn't too bad I kept my head down an d turned laps. i decided I was going to take tires and see where it went. I thought I had pace on every truckon the track except forNate. I needed the tires and it paid off. I was able to keep putting time delta on third place and back but I just couldn't overcome Nates gap.

Comments: yeh it was fun! I knew I was in trouble with no cautions from the back so i just picked my way thru everybody slowly. I got myself into 5thish without any incident then I got right hooked/wrecked on lap 10 so I had to come down and get a quick repair and I figured i might as well take tires/fuel and hope that works and I don't think it hurt me. On lap 35 I ran an 18.4 so i felt like that was pretty sporty! I fell like if I had gotten to start where i qualified we would have had a race or at least been able to keep some pressure on those guys to make sure they were driving at 100% and not make a mistake so there might have been a really good race at the front. I think the pace was there but it was too much of a hole to start with and I'm happy to take a third place.
