Yes, we provide training and coaching for beginners. We have experienced instructors who can provide one-on-one coaching to help beginners improve their driving skills. Email us for details.
We also host many practice sessions throughout the season. In particular, we host a practice session every Sunday night prior to the Monday night event, which mimics the league night race. Our Discord server allows communication amongst drivers to help facilitate sharing race car setups, driving lines, and overall race strategy.
The duration of our iracing events vary, however, most events last 1 to 3 hours.
Contact us through this website and ask to join the WSL Summer Speedway Recruitment Season 2026. Or, ask to join our Sunday night WSL Pro-Am Development Series League. Race clean/well, and we will send you an invite through the league portal within iRacing. Accept the invite, and you are all set. You can also apply by request via the league (#9800) or email us directly to apply.
The summer speedway recruitment season is free. However, the fall/spring 2026-2027 30 race season 5 will cost each race $50 for the year. This helps pay the iRacing race bill for the 30 races, the weekly recruitment races, plus the 50+ hosted practice sessions that we run during the season. In addition, it pays for our live race steward. That's typically north of 100 league races per year. It also pays for our new league race management software, Xtreme Scoring.
Each member is expected to participate in at least 1/2 of the scheduled events during the race season. For season four there are 30 race nights on Mondays from October 2026 - May 2027.
Yes. We follow all iracing rules of conduct. All drivers are expected to keep the race chatter civil, professional and in the spirit of good sportsmanship. Friendly bantering is expected but must not deteriorate to personal attacks or result in revenge driving. The failure to comply with these rules could result in a suspension or removal from the league.
We just added a page on this website exclusively dedicated to the rules and regulations. Select the more tab and then select it!
Login to the WSL Truck Series league race session as early as 7:30pm eastern. Practice will continue until 7:50pm. Qualifying will occur from 7:50pm until 8:00pm after which the race session will lock in that night's participants. The race will start at approximately 8:02 pm
The WSL Truck series runs with a "fixed" setup which only allows participants to adjust their steering ratio, steering offset/angle, and brake bias. This makes for a very level playing field. The trucks have limited fuel and tire amounts to promote race strategy and force pits stops to occur in every race. The weather varies to change track conditions, and there are points paying stages with and without cautions to further build strategy. The trucks have one quick repair available per race, and the race length is between 100 and 150 laps. Most races have 1 possible green/white/checker restart.
There are 30 points races in the season. We only count your top 25 finishes so there are effectively 5 "drops". That means you could miss up to 5 races, or do poorly in 5 races and those events would not count toward your championship total. Of course, the more races you compete in, the better chance you have of accumulating good finishes!
